“Of Time and Star 3” is a 2010 mixed-media painting by artist “Rokeya Sultana”. In her attempt to connect the human body in relation to her surrounding, nature, material, form, object and color she tells us her own experience on earth. Instead of capturing the whole saga, her painting encapsulates the small but significant detail that gives us an insight on life, relationship and identity. This painting is her endeavor to find the truth entangled in time and space lost in the infinite web of known and unknown. Her bold colors and abstract figure depicts our position in this ever-expanding universe. Through her painting, she asks to search our identity too.
