Artist Profile

Untitled

In his painting, he explored the underlying connection between humans and nature. Through his keen eyes, he devoured the beauty of every little detail and expressed his love through calculative brush strokes and purposeful symbolism. He paints what he sees, he captures what he feels and in the painting, he did exactly that. He framed the rawest and most seen event of rural Bangla with oil colors on canvas. An event, that is often overlooked, often shoved in the background amongst the crowd of all the glamorized works but is an integral part of our everyday life. In his realistic approach of abstraction, he found beauty in that and painted two women in the color of the sun against bright rich blue. He highlights the everyday life of women and captures them in drying washed clothes.

Artist Art Style

Syed Jahangir has gone through various phases of experimentation both in an abstract representation of visual reality and in the formalized expression of aesthetic experience. And his style is something between impressionism and reality. He brought symbolism in his works and created a gateway for nature loves.
